QuickBooks: a deliberate handoff.
Open the Proposal tab in Pro, enter the accounting customer name, an unused invoice number, dates and the agreed invoice amount. The form shows your modeled quote for reference; you choose the billing amount separately.
In QuickBooks, choose Settings → Import data → Invoices. Map the five columns and select MM/DD/YYYY dates. Review the destination preview before confirming; importing can create a real invoice.
Supported profile: QuickBooks Online US, USD, native invoice import available, sales tax not set up, and an existing USD customer. The file supplies one positive invoice amount. Without product/service details, Intuit uses its generic Sales item; review the item and accounting treatment in QuickBooks. Read Intuit’s import requirements.
This profile excludes Desktop, Solopreneur, other country editions, tax-enabled accounts, credits and automatic recurring invoices. Keep your accounting settings appropriate for your business; do not change tax setup to use this export. SweepTally generates the file locally. It does not connect to your books, send invoices, or detect duplicate invoice numbers. Account-specific import acceptance must be checked in your QuickBooks preview.
What about Jobber or another portal?
The customer scope CSV gives you a portable list of work to map where your destination supports it. Review its current import template first. SweepTally does not yet provide a verified Jobber or Housecall Pro import template, automatic sync or a connected account.
Your internal numbers stay separate.
The scope and invoice exporters omit internal wages, costs and margins. Review your own scope notes before sharing: anything you type in those notes is customer-facing. Keep internal CSV files and JSON backups private.
