HOUSES, APARTMENTS & TURNOVERS

Residential cleaning, estimated like a real job.

House and apartment work is still a takeoff: rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, extras and how often you return. Cleaning companies price that scope in SweepTally. Homeowners can find participating cleaners and send a request; SweepTally does not itself perform the clean.

Recurring house cleaning is not a flat national rate

Two three-bedroom houses are not the same job. Pets, extras, products the customer supplies, and whether linens are included change person-minutes. A weekly visit also carries setup and drive time that a per-clean “special” often forgets.

Contractors: save house standards in SweepTally Takeoff and reuse them. Homeowners: ask each bidder for rooms, bathrooms, extras and what is excluded — then compare with how to evaluate a cleaning bid.

Apartments are two different products

Common-area janitorial (lobby, corridors, laundry, elevators) is a recurring commercial-style contract. Unit interiors and move-out cleans are closer to residential day work. Mixing them in one vague monthly number is how both property managers and contractors lose money.

The apartment cleaning estimate models common areas. For a single occupied house, use the house cleaning estimate.

Move-out, Airbnb-style turnover and deep cleans

Turnover work is usually a one-visit scope with a punch list, not a weekly frequency. Price the actual rooms and extras. Do not multiply a deep-clean by 13 monthly visits. SweepTally does not connect to lodging calendars; you still schedule the crew.

Common questions

Can I book a house cleaner on SweepTally?

You can find participating companies and send a request. That does not book the visit. You and the company agree on scope, price and schedule. SweepTally is not the cleaner.

Does Takeoff support houses and apartments?

Yes. SweepTally Takeoff includes apartment and house property types with room and service quantities you confirm. Photos are optional reference images; they do not measure rooms automatically.

What about one-time deep cleaning?

Enter one visit and the tasks for that visit. Do not use a weekly janitorial frequency for a single deep clean.
